Front End Developer

RemoteFull-timeEngineering

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Front End Developer to own the public-facing side of our platform. This is a technical role first — the priority is engineering quality, clean code, and a product that performs. You will work closely with both the product team and our backend developers to ensure the front end is well-structured, data is surfaced correctly, and every interaction is smooth and intuitive for our users.

The right candidate is a strong Next.js developer who understands how to bridge front end and back end — someone who can read a requirement, align with the backend team on data needs, and deliver a polished public-facing result.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain high-quality, performant public-facing interfaces using Next.js.
  • Work closely with the backend development team to align on API contracts, data structures, and integration requirements — ensuring backend data is surfaced accurately across the front end.
  • Collaborate with the product team to translate requirements into well-crafted, functional interfaces.
  • Use Figma to interpret designs and specs, and contribute UI input where needed during the product process.
  • Maintain code quality, component structure, and consistency across the platform as it scales.
  • Identify and flag front end issues proactively — performance, data rendering, and UX gaps alike.

Requirements

Engineering

  • Next.js — proficient with app router, SSR, SSG, and API routes.
  • Strong React fundamentals: hooks, state management, component architecture.
  • Solid understanding of API integration and how to surface backend data correctly.
  • Clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability.

UI / UX

  • Figma — able to read and implement designs accurately from existing component libraries.
  • Good eye for detail: spacing, hierarchy, and consistency in the finished UI.
  • Comfortable contributing UI feedback during the product process without needing to lead design.

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a front end developer is required. Strong Next.js and API integration experience will be weighted most heavily.

A portfolio or links to live projects and a GitHub profile are strongly encouraged. We want to see production-quality front end work — how you build, structure, and ship.
